Morgans Senior Pictures

Here are a few rough pictures of Morgan. She is sooooo pretty. I had a fun time shooting her.

Barker stealing the show at Morgans Photo Shoot

On Sunday AM I went to a friends house who lives on Twin Lakes and took a mutual friend of ours Senior pictures. Well, it happened to be Barkers former family, so I took him with. The first thing he did was chase a goose in the Lake, then he preceded to roll in the sand on the beach. He was a stinky lake dog until I got him home and had Jami shower him down.

Daycare sleep over...

So last night I had 2 of my daycare girls stay the night. They have been BEGGING everyday. So we went to Puerto Vallarta for dinner, then went shopping for matching nighties and Hannah Montana undies...... They slept in Nikki's bed (for a bit) Selah ended up in my bed, but Jordyn did great by herself in Nik's bed. They watched a movie (Bee Movie) and had popcorn before they drifted off. This morning we got up early and went to Starbucks to get hot cocoa and came home to make chocolate chip smiley pancakes. Aubrie did not want to stay over, but had breakfast with the girls.

JUMPER JUMPER JUMPER

Well, as was said in the next post we spent the weekend in Portland. Next is a series of events that took place. I am going to give a timeline of things, since it is too long of a story to post.

5 AM--took Chris to airpot to fly to Vegas for a few days, came back to hotel (Marriott) parking garage. SLEPT

9 AM--picked up Nikki, friend and friends mom to take mom to airport, took friend back to campus.

10 AM--me and Nikki head to hotel to sleep until 1 or so (late check out)--I had an early morning and Nik apparently had a late night-early morning. Driving back to hotel we notice a Police car blocking in middle of road. Nikki looks around and sees a man on the balcony of our hotel standing on the railing..........uhmmmm okayyyyy!!!! So we have to drive around the hotel and I find a parking spot on the street----SWEET---free parking on the street on Sundays. We get out and walk to the back of the hotel that faces the city and watch for like an hour what is going to happen. We count up floors and he is on the 15th floor. So this is boring....we decide to go in and sleep for a few hours. We get into the elevator and ride it up to our floor, the 14th floor. As the doors open.....BAM......Policemen and full on view of jumpers behind, HE WAS ON OUR FLOOR IN THE ROOM ACROSS FROM THE ELEVATORS!!!!! The policemen ask if this is our floor and we are like YEA..... room 1409....ok, go to your room. We are 6 rooms down from him. We of course prop our door. So there are negotiators and reporters up and down the hallway repeating info, like his name, address, phone number, license number, mental history etc. This went on until we could no longer stay.

12:30 PM--check out and go to take our stuff to our car in our FREE street parking and car is totally boxed in by 10 Police cars, 1 fire truck, 3 Swat trucks and an ambulance. WE ARE STUCK THERE until this is resolved.........

1:15 PM--we go and see Saving Sarah Marshall----unless you DO NOT want to for the first time in history see FULL ON MALE FRONTAL like 6 or 7 times......DON'T go and see this flick. Don't get me wrong, it is soooo funny and a great movie----so much nude!

3:30 PM--head back to hotel----STILL there!!!!!

4:00 PM--nachos and drinks from the bar---the only functioning place in the hotel me and Nikki crash on couches and watch TV.

7:00 PM--I kindly go and see if there is ANY WAY possible to get my car out...."are you good at backing up?" he asks me! They were able to finagle some police cars and a swat truck and help me zig in and out backwards......

7:10 PM--headed home.......

So many more details, if you ask I'll tell, but in the end this AM he surrendered and DID NOT JUMP!!! Many pictures to follow......

Weekend in Portland.....

OK, so we went to Portland this weekend to watch Nikki's team play soccer. Last weekend they were up in Seattle playing the UW in 80 degree weather. The pictures below were on our way to Portland in 30 degree weather----no, we are not on the pass. This is I-5. It snowed from South Tacoma to Chehalis. There were snow plows and all. During the game it was sunny, windy, snowing, hailing and raining.....such a bizarre Spring we are having. April 17th was the last recorded snow day in history. Now it is the 20th.

Selah and Barker---have become fast friends. Selah is my other daughter (daycare daughter) I don't mind if she is here early or stays late, she even spends the night sometimes. Nikki is Selah's first love. I think I will take her to Portland soon to visit Nik.

Boating on the 1st nice day of the year.

Last Friday we went out with Mike and Dianne on their boat. (thanks for the invite). Cindy, Jim, Debbie and Yvonne went. We went around the Tacoma area. Thanks for a great evening!
